Your photos, logo designs, and watermarked images are completely private. All watermarking, text stamping, logo overlaying, and image rendering happen entirely on your local device. We NEVER upload, transmit, view, or store your photos, logos, or generated media on any remote cloud or server.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Watermark For You mobile application (along with any Free, Pro, or Ad-Free versions, collectively referred to as the "Application"), created and operated by Recode2Tech ("we", "us", or "Service Provider").

We are committed to protecting your personal privacy. This policy outlines how information is handled when you download, install, and use our Application.

1. Information We Collect and Process

A. Photos, Images & Watermark Assets (100% Local)

The Application allows you to import photos, apply text or logo watermarks, customize opacity, size, and positioning, and export the watermarked pictures.

No Server Uploads: All photo rendering, watermarking calculations, and file exports take place entirely within your device's local memory and sandbox storage.
No Access to Your Media: The Service Provider has no access to your imported pictures, watermark logos, customized texts, or exported photos.
Local Cache & Presets: Saved watermark templates, customized presets, and cached images reside exclusively on your local device and can be cleared at any time through the app settings or by clearing app data.

B. No User Accounts Required

You do not need to register, create an account, or provide personal credentials (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the core features of the Application.

C. Automatically Collected Technical & Diagnostic Data

To ensure app stability, troubleshoot crashes, and support free usage through advertising, the Application utilizes trusted third-party SDKs that may collect limited technical and diagnostic data:

Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC)

We use Firebase Crashlytics to monitor application performance, identify crashes, and resolve stability bugs. Crashlytics collects technical stack traces, device model details, operating system version, and system performance metrics at the moment of an unexpected crash.

Crashlytics does not collect your photos, watermark graphics, or personally identifiable data.

Google AdMob (Google LLC)

Free versions of the Application display advertisements delivered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process information such as your device's Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / IDFA), approximate location (IP-based), and ad interaction metrics to show relevant advertisements and detect fraudulent traffic.

Google Play Services & Google Play Billing

Google Play Services provides core Android infrastructure. If you choose to upgrade to a PRO or ad-free tier, payment transactions are handled securely and directly by Google Play In-App Billing. The Service Provider never receives, handles, or stores your credit card numbers or banking information.

2. Device Permissions and Why We Need Them

The Application may request the following permissions on your mobile device:

Photos / Media Access (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / Scoped Storage): Required solely to allow you to select photos or logo files from your photo gallery/device storage and to save the watermarked results back to your device.
Camera Access (CAMERA - Optional): Used only if you choose to snap a photo directly within the app to apply a watermark immediately. The Application does not take pictures without your direct action.
Internet Access (INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Required to load advertisements (AdMob), report crash diagnostic data (Firebase Crashlytics), and authenticate in-app purchases (Google Play Billing). Watermarking and photo editing operate completely offline without internet connectivity.

3. Data Retention and User Control

Your Photos & Images: Your images and exported watermarked photos remain exclusively on your device. You have full control to save, export, or delete them at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all application-specific cached files.

Diagnostic Crash Logs: Diagnostic crash reports submitted to Firebase Crashlytics are retained in accordance with Google's standard retention schedules (typically up to 90 days) and are used solely for resolving bugs and improving stability.

4. Advertising and Tracking Choices

Users who prefer not to receive personalized ads can adjust their preferences directly through their device settings:

Android: Navigate to Settings > Google > Ads (or Privacy > Ads) and select "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
Ad-Free Upgrade: You may also choose to upgrade to the PRO / Premium version via Google Play in-app purchase to remove all advertisements.

5. Security of Your Information

Because all photo watermarking and image manipulation are conducted locally on your device, your private photos and creative works never leave your custody. Any diagnostic data or ad queries communicated with Google services are encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols.

6. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed toward children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate measures.

7. Compliance with Global Privacy Laws (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, you enjoy specific legal rights concerning your personal data:
